Raliance brought together a community of diverse activists whose stories have not been central to the movement and use this national space to elevate the visibility of these stories in order to eradicate gender-based violence. By nurturing the conditions for their own empowerment, Raliance supports young activisits to bring learning and activism back to their communities to end gender-based violence. To help us build collective power and voice to achieve this, we are convened ThisGEN: Youth Summit from March 6th-10th 2017 in Washington DC. This 5-day event engaged 75 sophomore and junior High School students from 25 states in leadership and learning opportunities through four tracks:

Utlizing social media and messaging to change public opinion and discourse about gender-based violence.

Leveraging the influence of sports and athletes to end gender-based violence.

Engaging in policy advocacy to propose grass-tops solutions to ending gender-based violence.

Activating community-organizing strategies to catalyze grass-roots efforts to end gender-based violence.
