Partnered with United Soccer Coaches
In April 2018, MOCSA hosted a Coaches and Coffee session providing education and information on how to prevent sexual violence and support victims to 41 coaches.
This Toolkit was presented at the United Soccer Coaches Annual Convention in January 2019.
MOCSA and United Soccer Coaches staff will present at the 2019 National Sexual Assault Conference.
In partnership with United Soccer Coaches, MOCSA developed a Coaches’ Toolkit, an in-person presentation specific to coaches, and an online course.
The Coaches’ Tool Kit for preventing sexual violence was printed and shared via the July/August edition of the Soccer Journal (a magazine published by United Soccer Coaches) reaching 16,000 members.
Educate & Train
Some 350 coaches attended in-person training events (Goal to reach 100), and 203 coaches have completed the course in the first 3 weeks since its launch.
