Your Child and Pornography with Cordelia Anderson, M.A.
In developing the Parent 2 Parent project, we felt it was important to address questions around pornography and sexting. More than ever, young people are struggling to develop healthy ideas about sexuality and consent. In this section are tools to help you explore the potential harms of pornography use and sexting. Check out the video from Cordelia Anderson on the topic of speaking with your child about pornography, and the video, “Exposed,” designed for 14-18 year olds, about the issue of cyberbullying. You can also view a series of videos on the problems associated with sending nude “selfies.” Please explore the many downloadable articles and suggestions of further resources, as well. Many of them are aimed directly at youth! We hope these resources will help you to have important conversations with your child.
