Who We Are

RALIANCE is a national partnership dedicated to ending sexual violence in one generation. RALIANCE partners with a wide range of organizations to improve their cultures and create environments free from sexual harassment, misconduct and abuse. Every day, RALIANCE helps leaders establish safe workplaces and strong communities by advancing research, influencing policy, and supporting innovative programs. RALIANCE is based in Washington, DC and combines decades of experience and resources from three leading national sexual violence prevention organizations into a single, unified force.

Our name RALIANCE represents bringing together the many strengths and resources of our three founding agencies; the national prevention effort’s reliance on growing our expertise and credibility to advance prevention innovation; and a rallying cry for additional partners and allies to join us. Our tagline “Ending Sexual Violence in One Generation” was chosen to represent our urgency, boldness, and determination to integrate an array of effective prevention strategies into systems and communities throughout the United States.

RALIANCE was founded in 2015 through a multimillion dollar seed investment by the National Football League. The NFL’s initial funding, along with the inclusion and utilization of a wide variety of community-based partners, has empowered RALIANCE to boldly fight and advocate for a world free from sexual harassment, misconduct and abuse once and for all.

RALIANCE combines and is building upon over 70 years of collective experience and resources from three top national sexual violence prevention leaders into a single, unified force.

National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) is the nation’s leading nonprofit in providing information and tools to prevent and respond to sexual violence – translating research and trends into best practices to promote change in communities and inform journalism.

National Alliance Ending Sexual Violence (NAESV) is the voice in Washington for the 56 state and territorial sexual assault coalitions and 1300 local rape crisis centers working to end sexual violence and support survivors.

California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA)’s PreventConnect is the leading national online resource center to advance the prevention of sexual and domestic violence and support development, implementation and evaluation of innovative prevention practices.
